Our Wines

“Atelier Methode Cap Classique is made in the same fashion as the French Methode Champenoise. The wine is partly fermented in tanks and French oak barrels before bottling, where a second fermentation takes place. These capped bottles are placed in riddling racks and carefully riddled months before being disgorged and corked. This careful treatment results in our MCC producing a fine mousse and a delightful finish.”

Atelier Méthode Cap Classique Brut Rose

The Atelier Méthode Cap Classique is made in the same fashion as French Méthode Champenoise. As with all wines produced in our cellar, our grapes are grown and harvested with care. Once the wine-making process is started, the grapes are delicately whole bunch pressed to embrace elegant flavours. The wine is then fermented in tanks and partly fermented in French Oak Barrels and thereafter bottled. Our bottles are carefully riddled by hand and aged for 24 months on the lees.

The Brut Rose is a delightful assortment of strawberries, raspberries and cherries on the palate, with a fine balance between acidity and sweetness.

Tasting notes

Made in the traditional style, the Brut Rose made from 71% Pinot Noir & 29% Chardonnay displays flavours of cherries and biscuit aromas on the nose, followed by a distinct and creamy effervescence on the palate, leaving a crisp and clean after taste.
